This website placesno cookies

No banner, because there is nothing to accept. Below is exactly what is stored and why.

Updated 24 October 2026.

Nothing is placed on playtour.nl

This website places no cookies at all. No analytics, no tracking pixel, no ad network, no social buttons watching along. We do not know who you are while you look around and we do not measure your visit.

That is why there is no cookie banner here. A window asking consent for something that does not happen is misleading, and it only teaches people to click away faster.

The application uses only necessary cookies

When you sign in to app.playtour.nl, two cookies are set. They exist to keep you signed in and for nothing else: they are encrypted and http-only, so no script on the page can read them; there are two because together they exceed the 4 kB a single cookie may hold; one expires when you close your browser and the other is what makes "stay signed in" work. Sign out and they are gone.

Strictly necessary cookies like these need no consent. Dutch law (article 11.7a(3) of the Telecommunications Act) says so: without them you cannot stay signed in, which is exactly what you asked for by signing in.

What we keep in your browser

Besides those cookies the application uses your browser's own storage for three things, which stay on your device and are sent nowhere: an entry you have not finished yet, an answer typed at the match desk but not yet sent, and whether you have dark mode switched on.

The captcha

Signing in and registering use a Cloudflare captcha (Turnstile) to stop automated attacks. It looks at signals from your browser and your IP address. It places no tracking cookie and is not used for advertising.

What happens if this changes

If we ever do place something that tracks you, such as a visitor counter, an advertising pixel or an embedded video, we will ask your consent first. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, your choice will be changeable later, and nothing will load before you say yes. This page will be updated at that moment.
